Giving Back with Purpose: Honoring Culture, Supporting Keiki

We believe in the power of community—and that giving back is one of the most meaningful ways to stay rooted in the place we call home. That’s why proceeds from our Royal Coat of Arms of the Hawaiian Kingdom patch will be saved and reinvested into Keiki and Youth Art and Sports Programs on Kaua‘i. We’ll be transparent along the way and share updates as soon as we’ve raised enough to make a donation. Every patch you purchase helps us get one step closer.

This isn’t just about a patch—it’s about purpose.

A Patch with Deep Roots – The design features the Royal Coat of Arms of the Hawaiian Kingdom, a powerful symbol of Hawaiian sovereignty and resilience. The original coat of arms was created during the reign of King Kauikeaouli (Kamehameha III), who in 1842 sent William Richards and Timoteo Haʻalilio on a historic diplomatic mission to secure international recognition of Hawaiʻi’s independence. The arms themselves were designed by a herald at the College of Arms in London, at the King’s request.

This moment marked a turning point in Hawaiian history—a declaration of identity and the right to self-governance. That same pride lives on today.

‘Ua mau ke ea o ka ʻāina i ka pono’
The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness.

These words, spoken by Kamehameha III upon the restoration of Hawaiian sovereignty in 1843, remind us that justice and pono (righteousness) are the foundation of thriving communities. In that spirit, we give back—because when our keiki thrive, our island thrives.

Mahalo for supporting this mission and helping keep the spirit of aloha alive.

Giving back to Hawaiians is vital because it honors the culture, supports the next generation, and helps preserve the values of aloha, community, and pono that make these islands so special.
